Jenny's father was David Rollo and her mother was Agnes Brash.  Her maternal grandparents were David Brash and Agnes Henderson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named David, Silvester, George, Nornan, Caroline and Jessie.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
