John Robertson

John was born on April 30th, 1795 in Dunfermline and his baptism took place there on May 10th, 1795.¹ John's father was William Robertson and his mother was Elspeth Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Robert Thomson and Janet Shipherd. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, George, James and Janet. He was the oldest of the five children. He died due to a medical problem, Fever, at the age of 33 on June 25th, 1828 in Newton-on-Ayr.²
