Margaret was born in 1846 in Glasgow.1  Margaret's father was David Rennie and her mother was Agnes Miler.  Her paternal grandparents were James Rennie and Janet Stronach. She had a brother named David.  She was the older of the two children.  She died at the age of 66 in 1912 in Govan.
