Jennie's father was James Rennie and her mother was Catherine (Kate) Stobo.  Her paternal grandparents were John Rennie and Euphemia McKichan. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Eliza and Kate.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 33 on July 25th, 1894 in Greenock.^3 4 5
