James Rennie

James was born on April 1st, 1835 in Barony parish and his baptism took place on May 3rd, 1835 in Glasgow.¹²

James' father was John Rennie and his mother was Euphemia McKichan. His paternal grandparents were James Rennie and Janet Stronach. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Archibald, Catherine, Euphemia and Jenny. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Andrew. He died at the age of 58 in 1893 in Glasgow.³
