John McQueen 
John was born in 1825 in Argyll.1 John's father was Peter McQueen and his mother was Catharine Johnstone. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Donald, Duncan, Mary, Catherine, Kettie, Jean, Jean and Margaret. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
