Jonathan McMurren

Jonathan was born in 1820 in Prestwick.¹

Jonathan's father was Jonathon McMurren and his mother was Susan McAllan. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Allan, David, Ann, Helen and Susanna.  He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Samuel and William.  He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, pthysis [i.e. tuberculosis], at the age of 39 in 1859 in Tradeston.²
