Marion McMurran

Marion was born in 1893 in Gorbals.

Marion's father was William McMurran and her mother was Annie Mcintosh.  Her paternal grandparents were John McMurran and Agnes Robertson. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named John, James, William, George, Jonathan, Thomas, Hugh, Adam, McMurran, Alison and Jennie.  She was the second youngest of the twelve children.  She died in 1893 in Gorbals.
