Margaret Mathie

Margaret was born on August 22nd, 1777 in Paisley and her baptism took place on August 24th, 1777 in Paisley Abbey parish.

Margaret's father was John Mathie and her mother was Mary Brown. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, William, James, James, Robert, Annie and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.
