David Kay 
David was born on November 5th, 1784 in St. Cuthbert's parish. David's father was James Kay and his mother was Margaret Baxter. His maternal grandparents were Douglas Baxter and Margaret Hamilton. He had a brother and a sister, named Ronald and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the three children.
