Jean Henderson

    All other dates on page are 1788. Sister Janet (born April 1788) is baptised on next page (13th July). I assume during her baptism, someone noticed that the baptism of her older sister in 1786 had not been noted, and was added.

Jean's father was James Henderson and her mother was Jean Aitken.  Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Henderson and Elizabeth Marshall; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Aitken and Margaret Addie. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Michael, Robert, Janet, Jean, Margaret and Helen.  She was the oldest of the nine children.
