Hugh Hamilton Jr

Hugh was born in 1847 in Paisley.¹ Hugh's father was Hugh Hamilton and his mother was Catherine Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hamilton and Janet McLatchie. He had seven sisters named James, Catherine, Margaret, Hellen, Janet, Hugh and Hugh. He was the youngest of the eight children.
