Ramsay Gibson

Ramsay was born on October 22nd, 1875 in Taughboyne and his baptism took place there on December 15th, 1875.¹

Ramsay's father was Ramsay Gibson and his mother was Sophia Dugan.  His paternal grandparents were John Gibson and Eliza Jane Wray. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Robert, Sophia, Annie, Mary and Ethel.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named John.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Septicemic poisoning following Rupture of Bladder the result of injury accidentaly received by being run over by traction engine, at the age of 20 on August 15th, 1896 in Raphoe parish.²
