Ramsay Gibson

Ramsay was born on July 28th, 1850 in Raphoe parish and his baptism took place there on August 4th, 1850.¹

Ramsay's father was John Gibson and his mother was Eliza Jane Wray. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Wray and Elizabeth Dun. He had six brothers named Robert, Campbell, Samuel, Andrew, Robert and James. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died from cancer, cancer of hip, duration 9 months, at the age of 61 on December 16th, 1911 in Raphoe parish.
