Mary Fraser

Mary was born in 1836 in Mauchline.¹ Mary's father was Alexander Fraser and her mother was Helen Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Fraser and Isabella Adamson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Hamilton and Janet McLatchie. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, John, Thomas, James, Janet, Isabella, Martha, Margaret, Helen, Mary and Jane. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 1 in 1837.¹
