Jane was born on April 4th, 1846 in Paisley.¹

Birth Notes
- According to 1851, 81 and 91 censuses, must have been born on 4 or 5 -Apr-1846

Jane's father was Alexander Fraser and her mother was Helen Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were Alexander Fraser and Isabella Adamson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Hamilton and Janet McLatchie. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, John, Thomas, James, Janet, Isabella, Martha, Margaret, Helen, Helen and Mary. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died due to a medical problem, Acute Gastritis, Cardiac Failure, at the age of 83 on May 9th, 1929 in Paisley.²
