Agnes' father was Archibald Eaglesome and her mother was Marion Fulton.  Her maternal grandparents were William Fulton and Jean Urie. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Thomas, Jeannie, Isabel, Marion, Mary, Katrine and Janet.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
