Hugh Drummond

Hugh was born in September 1848 in Paisley.¹²

Hugh's father was William Drummond and his mother was Christian Campbell. His paternal grandparents were William Drumond and Mary Tours. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Moses, James, Janet, Mary, Christina, Aird and Margaret. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Robert, Isabella, Helen and Annie. He died due to heart disease, myocarditis robar, pneumonia, cardiac failure, at the age of 81 on June 6th, 1930 in Port Elizabeth. He was buried.³⁴
