Agnes' father was Alexander Dobie and her mother was Margaret Henderson.  Her maternal grandparents were Archibald Henderson and Jean Brash. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Archibald, Robert, David, Henry, Thomas, Helen, Jane, Margaret, Jessie, Janet and Jessie.  She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 82 on May 11th, 1909 in Linlithgow.  She was buried in Linlithgow.^3 3
