Ann Hardie Dick

Ann was born on January 10th, 1816 in Kirkliston and her baptism took place there on February 4th, 1816.^1 2   Ann's father was David Dick and her mother was Janet Grant.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert Grant and Isabell Marshall. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George, Robert, Peter, Isabell, Janet, Jean and Marion.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died due to a medical problem, chronic phthisis, (i.e. tuberculosis) duration 2 months, at the age of 62 on November 1st, 1878 in Kirkliston.³

    53 in 1871 census, so born between 2-nov-1817 and 3-Apr-1818
    34 in 1851 doesn't quite fit.
    
    Her mother listed as Isabella Grant on death cert.
