John Cunningham

John's father was James Cunningham and his mother was Elisabeth Walker. His paternal grandparents were John Cunningham and Hellen Aitken; his maternal grandparents were James Walker and Janet Flint. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, James, Archibald, Alexander, Janet, Helen and Elisabeth. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 on April 18th, 1863 in Broxburn. He was buried in Uphall.¹¹
