Ann Mary's father was John Wilson Crawford and her mother was Susan Faulds Gatherer. She had two brothers and a sister, named Peter, George and Margaret.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, James, Robert and Jessie.
