Janet was born in 1919 in Glasgow. Janet's father was Robert Campbell and her mother was Margaret Wood White Hewitt. Her maternal grandparents were Archibald Hewitt and Janet Robertson. She had a brother named Robert. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 90 on January 28th, 2009 in New Hampshire.¹
