Janet Bowman 
Janet was born in 1849 in Kilmarnock.1 2 Janet's father was Dalrymple Bowman and her mother was Jane Taylor. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Taylor and Ann Scoffield. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named William, Andrew, Robert, George, Helen, David, Hugh, Dalrymple, Joseph, Annie and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Phthysis, 6 Weeks, at the age of 22 on June 15th, 1871 in Loudon.- Death Notes
