Josephus Bogisich (József)

Josephus was born in 1787 in Buda and his baptism took place on July 8th, 1787.¹   His godmother was Rosalia Kovacs.  Josephus' father was Franciscus Seraphicus Bogisich and his mother was Theresia Süvegess.  His paternal grandparents were Josephus Bogisich and Martha Ivanovicha. He had a brother and five sisters, named Matheus, Catharina, Anna, Julianna, Elisabetha and Rozalia.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died due to a medical problem, Cholera, at the age of 79 on September 7th, 1866 in Buda.  The funeral took place on September 8th, 1866 and was arranged by Fr Fabianus Culic.¹
