Catharina Bogisich

Catharina was born in 1807 in Buda and her baptism took place on April 1st, 1807 conducted by Fr Bernardus.¹   Her godfather was Josephus Knexovich and her godmother was Elisabeth Antonovich.  Catharina's father was Franciscus Bogisich and her mother was Catharina Milkovich.  Her paternal grandparents were Matthias Simon Bogisich and Catharina Antolovich. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Franciscus, Sebastianus, Josephus, Anna, Elisabetha, Barbara, Maria and Elisabetha.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.
