Leon לאון was born in 1897 in Kazanlik, Bulgaria.1   Leon לאון's father was Bechor בכור Asa אסא and his mother was Garsiye גרסייה Asa אסא (Bejarano בז'רנו).  His paternal grandparents were Refael רפאל Asa אסא and ??? Asa אסא; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and a sister, named Morsechay מרדכי, Shabat שבת and Rivka רבקה.  He died at the age of 76 on September 20th, 1973 in Israel.  The funeral took place in Holon Cemetery.2
