      As a child he appears in the 1880 census of Cumberland County, Tennessee as Henry Hembree (16 b. TN) the son of William �W.� Hembree (47 b.TN) and Caroline (40 b.TN). Family correspondence and postings say this is William H. Hembree and his 2nd wife Caroline (not the mother of his children).
      
      He also appears in the 1870 census of Cumberland County, Tennessee as William H. Hembree (5 b. TN) the son of William �F.� Hembree (37 b.TN) and Melvina (�Nelcina�) (38 b.TN). Family correspondence and postings say this is William H. Hembree and his 1st wife Melvina (Morgan?) - the mother of his children.
  He died after 1910.
