John was born in 1645 in Gravesend, Long Island, New Netherlands, Dutch Colony.  John's father was Richard Immigrant Stout and his mother was Penelope VAN PRINCIS??  Kent OR Thompson.  His paternal grandparents were John Staught Stout and Elizabeth Bee; his maternal grandparents were Baron Van Printzen?? Prince and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and a sister, named Richard, James, Peter, Jonathan, David and Alice.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 79 on November 24th, 1724.
