Aaron was born in 1740 in Abbeville Co., SC.  Aaron's father was James Aaron Steele and his mother was Mary Alexander.  His paternal grandparents were John Steele and Ann???. He had three brothers named Isaac, John and Alexander.  He died at the age of 55 in November 1795.
