Henry Snyder

  • Henry owned and ran the Elk Branch Store at Duffields Depot.  This was a brick
    building  selling dry goods, shoes, panteloons, food, spices, kitchen utensils,
    furniture, and Scotch snuff.  He must have been carrying on a tailoring
    business also, as bills were paid to Sidney W. Wong for "cutting and making"
    coats, suits and roundabouts.
