    I am looking for the Parents of William H. (possibly Haywood) Marshall born Alabama around 1823, moved to Carroll Co, TN and then to Poplar Bluff MO. Married to Nancy Carver in Nov 1850 Carroll Co., TN. May have been married before to Eliza J. Sampson have 2 daughters. (Mary & Virginia B.) With Nancy they had 6 sons. They moved to Poplar Bluff, Mo whereWm H & nancy died in 1873 of minigitis. In 1850 Carroll Co. Tn there is a John Marshall & a Nancy that lives close to Carver. I don't want to assume these are his parents, could be uncle or cousin. Can not find William H or his 2 daughters anywhere in 1850. If John is his father who is John's parents. Marshall family has been very hard to even find in census & especially in Ala.
