William Marshall

William was born about 1214 in Hockering, Mitford, Norfolk, England. William's father was John FitzJohn of Hingham (Magna Carta, 1215) or is this Fitz the illegit (of Seaton and Aslakeby) Marshall and his mother was Aline de Rye. His paternal grandparents were John Marshall and Alice de Port; his maternal grandparents were Fulk de Rye and <Unknown>. He had a sister named Alice. He was the older of the two children. He died about September 1265.
