    Hi folks,
    
    I finally found a name that confirms who it was that swore Matilda Shockey
    was over 18 when she married in 1839 in ChampCo. OH. Valentine H. Marshall
    was named in a will as the son-in-law of Robert Lloyd. He was the executor
    along with David Smith. A David Smith was also an appraiser at the estate
    sale of Abraham Shockey. Do the executors or the person who makes out the
    will appoint the appraisers? Maybe David Smith is also related to this family.
    
    Her grandfather Charles Rector's second wife was Catherine Haines
    Marshall. Perhaps she knew Valentine through her step-grandmother. Now I
    want to figure out what the relationship was between Reuben Corder who m.
    Matilda Shockey, Matilda Shockey and Valentine Marshall.
    
    Are there any Marshall researchers out there who know anything about
    Valentine H Marshall or Catherine Haines Marshall?
