        Thomas, Boston, adm. chh. 3 (6) 1634, a widower; frm. March 4, 1634-5. Deacon, town officer, deputy. Chosen to keep the ferry to Charlestown and Winnisimmet 23 (11) 1635. With wife Alice conveyed his homestead to son Samuel M. of Windsor, Conn. July 4, 1663. Signed inv. of John Hill in 1646. He m. 2, Alice -; ch. Eliakim b. 1 (1) 1637, Thomas bapt. 7 (11) 1643, ae. about 5 days. The wife Alice d. May 20, 1664. Four days later he deeded effects to her daus. Sarah, wife of James Pemberton, and Francis, wife of Joseph How; refers to his sons Eliakim and Thomas M.
        He d. before Dec. 8, 1664. Admin, gr. Jan. 31, 1664-5, to James Pemberton. [Reg. XVI,. 163.]."

        THOMAS, Boston, shoemaker, or ferryman, or both, call. widower on adm. to the ch. 31 Aug. 1634; freem. 4 Mar. 1635, had brot. from Eng. prob. s. Thomas and Samuel, ds. Sarah and Frances; and here by sec. w. Alice had Eliakim, b. 1 Mar. 1637, yet not bapt. until 15 Apr. 1638, no doubt on acco. of the antinom. quarrel in the ch. for acting with the major part of wh. in support of Wheelwright, he was requir. in Nov. 1637 to surrender his arms; but like most of the rest, thus abused, regain. high esteem, was selectman 1647-58, deac. and rep. 1650, and d. perhaps 1663. Frances m. 16 July 1652, Joseph Howe; and Sarah m. James Penniman. Great indulgence must be granted to investigat. a. this name, for ano."
