    "James Harrison Marshall of Boyds Creek country. Born 5 Jan 1819, died 17 Feb 1901. Spring of 1854 he lost home and all contents by fire. On the 2nd day afterfire, 75 people far and near gathered in with implements, wagons and teams and gathered logs for the erection of another house."
