Gilbert Marshall

Gilbert's father was John FitzGILBERT le MARECHAL; `the Marshall'; (of Rockley) and his mother was Sibile Sibyl De Vere Deever D'evereaux. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzRobert Master Marshal of the king's household under King Henry Marshall and Miss De Venuz. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John , William the Protector de, Henry Henrie of Exeter, Anselme, Walter, Margaret and Maud. He died before November 1166.
