  Molly's great grandfather was likely the legendary tribal leader 'King Brant' who was the son of a Briton by that name who arrived in Albany in 1665 and married into the Mohawk 'clan of the wolf.' King Brant's son, King Hendrick, was also a respected Mohawk warrior chief who included Molly in his entourage starting with a formal visit to Philadelphia for consultations with the governor of Pennsylvania when she was only 18.
