    Query: I'm trying to get proof of my indian heritage. Samuel Estep married Susanna Terry Sept. 8, 1813. She was the daughter of Miles Terry Hannah (Horton) Terry. She was born in Botetourt Co., Va. She was suppose to be a Cherokee Indian. They were also suppose to be related to Chief John Ross. Would love to know more about my heritage and be able to prove it. I think it is something to be very proud of and to pass along to generations to come.
