    Larkin COLBERT was from Oglethorpe Co., GA, b. 1790-1800. He was first
    married in 1818 in Morgan Co. to Sarah D. McINTOSH, dau. of Col. David
    McINTOSH and Martha Mary DAWSON. Mary Ellen DISMUKES, dau. of Joseph T.,
    was his second wife. Larkin had 4 children by his 1st wife but none by
    Mary Ellen. He died in Talbot Co. in 1848. Three of his children by
    Sarah McINTOSH will show up later in the Talbot Co. marriages:
    Mary Amanda Elizabeth COLBERT to Nicholas C. ALLEN, 1842
    David Alexander COLBERT to Martha DISMUKES, 1843
    Lucinda Parasade COLBERT to Stephen N. ALLEN, 1847
    His 4th child, George Dawson COLBERT, m. Lucy ALLEN in 1855 in Madison Co.
