    CLARK, Thomas. West Caln.
    04 Jul 1767 - 12 Apr 1769.
    Provides for wife Ann. To son David CLARK 50 pounds. To grandchildren Thos
    GIBBS, Thos FULLERTON, Thos CLARK, Thos PARK and Elizabeth GIBBS 10 pounds
    each. If son Joseph shall educate he son Thomas for a minister of the
    gospel, I give my said grandson 40 pounds more for his learning, otherwise
    to any other son whom he may so educate. To granddaughter Ann CLARE 50
    pounds if she lives to have need of it. To son Joseph 5 shillings having
    lately given him 100 pounds. Remainder equally divided among children: Mary
    GIBBS, John CLARK, Ann FULLERTON, Rachel KENNEDY, Rebecca PARK, Susanna
    YOUNG and Margaret KERR. Portions of Mary GIBBS and Rachel KENNEDY to be in
    trust for their use. Mentions son-in-law Humphrey FULLERTON.

    Mortgage. ON 14 Apr 1763 William RODGERS of West Caln, yeoman, to Mary
    BENSON of the City of Philadlephia, wide & executor of the will of John
    BENSON, late of the City of Philadelphia, baker, dec'd. William RODGERS
    stands bound to Mary BENSON for 400 pounds conditioned on payment of 200
    pounds plus interest on 14 Apr 1764. William RODGERS to better secure said
    debt granted to Mary BENSON a trct of land West Caln, bounded by land of
    Thomas CLARK, John READS, John RANKIN, James DOUGLAS containing 270 acres
    being the land which Charles NORRIS, Mahlon KIRKBRIDE, Francis YARNALL &
    James WRIGHT surviving trustees for the General Loan Office by deed dated 13
    Apr 1763 granted to William RODGERS. Signed William RODGERS. Delivered in
    the presence of Willilam MCINTYRE & Paul Isaac VOTO. Recorded 26 Apr 1763.

    Mortgage. On 18 Feb 1759 Thomas CLARK of West Caln, yeoman & Ann his wife to
    Adam BOYD of Sadsbury & James WHITHILL of Salisbury in the County of
    Lancaster. Thomas CLARK & Ann his wife for 178 pounds, 6 shillings, 6 pence
    granted to Adam BOYD & James WHITHILL a tract of land in West Caln bounded
    by other land of Thomas CLARK, land of Hugh THOMPSON & John MALLER
    containing 200 acres (certain 62 1/2 acres part of the 200 acres which the
    said Thomas CLARK lately granted to one John MOORE, part therof on the east
    side of the Great Road leading from the City of Philadelphia to the town of
    Lancaster & the remainder to Joseph CLARK southwardly of the same road, only
    excepted & foreprized). Thomas CLARK shall pay to Adam BOYD & James WHITHILL
    the full sum of 178.6.6 pounds plus interest on 15 Oct 1762. Signed Thomas
    CLARK & Ann CLARK. Note. Before signing a certain 5 acres of land on the
    east side of the road before mentioned adjoining the lands of Joseph CLARK &
    John MILLER is also excepted out of the above mortgage. Delivered in the
