Jeremiah Bowles

• General Notes
  • In the 1850 Putnam Co VA/WV census is only one Bowles family and that is my
    ancestors, jeremiah Bowles and mary Ann Waldon, with their four sons, James,
    Francis Marion, Allen and john.
    
    My line is;
    Jeremiah Bowles and Mary Ann Waldon
    Allen Bowles and Octavia Cooper
    Wiley Bowles and Reginia Roche
    Elizabeth Bowles and Shirley Stilwell (my grandparents)
    
    We now know through DNA testing the Jeremiah and Jeptha Bowles were closely
    related, along with a couple of other Bowles researchers, who can trace back
    to Franklin County.
