William Augustus Blount

  • My husband's William Augustus Blount m. Sarah Ann Turrentine in 1842 in Muscogee Co, GA. I have not been able to find them on the 1850 census in AL where they were supposed to be. By 1853, they are in Grimes County, TX. Also showing up in Grimes County by 1880 is Alfred N. G. Blount who we believe to be distantly related. They two lines intermarried a couple of times. Alfred was also married in Jones Co, GA as was the above William. Plus Sarah Ann Turrentine was born in Jones Co, GA. There are too many coincidences.
