Frederick was born in 1858 in Pakenham, Suffolk.¹ Frederick's father was George Rosier and his mother was Emma Last. His paternal grandparents were Willaim Rosier and Mary Butcher; his maternal grandparents were William Last and Ann. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Brady, George, Benjamin, Arthur, Emma and Anna. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 in 1938 in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.¹
