Sarah Lowndes

Sarah was born in 1902 in Fenton, Staffordshire.¹ Sarah's father was David Lowndes and her mother was Mary Riley. Her paternal grandparents were George Lowndes and Annie Emery. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, David, Minnie, Louisa, Lily, Dora and Ada. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
