Dora Lowdnes

Dora was born in 1908 in Chesterton, Staffordshire.¹ Dora's father was David Lowndes and her mother was Mary Riley. Her paternal grandparents were George Lowndes and Annie Emery. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, David, Minnie, Louisa, Sarah, Lily and Ada. She was the second youngest of the eight children.
