Ada Lowdnes

Ada was born in 1911 in Chesterton, Staffordshire.¹ Ada's father was David Lowndes and her mother was Mary Riley. Her paternal grandparents were George Lowndes and Annie Emery. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, David, Minnie, Louisa, Sarah, Lily and Dora. She was the youngest of the eight children.
