Catherine Hughes

Catherine was born in 1898 in Guilden Sutton, Chester, Cheshire.¹ Catherine's father was Arthur Hughes and her mother was Mary A Dodd. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Hughes and Ann Walker. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Arthur, Wilfred, Alfred and Anne. She was the second youngest of the six children.
