Anne Hughes

Anne was born in 1886 in Guilden Sutton, Chester, Cheshire.¹ Anne's father was Arthur Hughes and her mother was Mary A Dodd. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Hughes and Ann Walker. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Arthur, Wilfred, Alfred and Catherine. She was the oldest of the six children.
