Anna was born on November 25th, 1673 in Steimbke, Nienburg, Hannover, Germany.  Anna's father was Luder (Ludeke) Scharringhausen and her mother was Catharine Krumreide. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Stasha, Heinrich, Johann, Dieterich, Catharina and Ilse.  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  She died in Steimbke, Nienburg, Hannover, Germany.
